How can you guarantee I will stop smoking?
No one can make guarantees predicting your future choices. We only guarantee that we can and do help smokers become "former smokers". Whereas other stop smoking methods may have failed you, we can help you achieve and maintain results. Guaranteed.
Our success is due in part to our offering effective therapies and continued support to those who complete our program. However, the most important ingredient to successful smoking cessation is your sincere desire to stop smoking.
If you're on the fence about stopping smoking, please pick up the phone and call for a free telephone consultation.
How many treatments do I need to stop smoking?
Many people stop smoking with only one visit to the clinic! However, there are various factors to be considered when attempting to stop smoking that will determine how quickly you identify yourself as a non-smoker. For example, the age you started smoking can impact how easy or difficult it will be you to stop. Just as a doctor cannot treat each patient with the same prescription, we cannot predict what it will take to transition you into a new, healthy lifestyle. Regardless of whether you need one laser treatment or a series of therapies, we will meet your individual needs and circumstances.
Does you accept insurance?
Yes. Many insurance companies now cover and/or reimburse smoking cessation therapies! Please call us with the following information so that we may verify your benefits: first and last name, date of birth, address, your insurance provider's customer service number, and your member ID.
Am I required to undergo every one of your smoking cessation therapies or can I just get zapped by the laser and be on my way?
There is no One-Fits-All procedure for smoking cessation. Please call us for a free telephone consultation so that we may answer this question based on your individual needs and circumstances.
What is laser therapy and how does it work, exactly?
Our clinic uses a Class 3B Laser approved by the F.D.A. for non-pharmaceutical pain management. As smoking is a pain reliever (physical / emotional), laser therapy is also a pain reliever and significantly reduces or eliminates anxiety, discomfort, and irritability commonly experienced by former smokers as "withdrawal" symptoms, thereby reducing or eliminating the physical urge to smoke.
A light beam is applied directly to the ears, face, or other points on the body that absorb photons of light, which in turn causes a release of natural chemicals (endorphins, dopamine), which create a sense of being calm and relaxed. Laser therapy effectively takes away cravings for sweets, fats, and cigarettes.
Put simply, every time you smoke you are introducing poison into your bloodstream. The body reacts by producing pain killing opioid chemicals. With habitual cigarette use, the body becomes accustomed to this method of inducing feel good brain chemistry. About 30 minutes after your last smoke, your body experiences an immediate decline in these chemical levels which leads to withdrawal symptoms - mild at first - then increasing to intolerable levels. Laser therapy not only eliminates withdrawal symptoms such as depression, anxiety and irritation, it kills your desire to smoke.
In effect, when feel good chemicals are being released, cravings cease to exist!
Once that nicotine link is broken, you'll need to make a few behavioral changes. We will teach you the techniques used by top cognitive behavioral therapists so as to ensure you remain tobacco free for life.
Is the procedure safe?
Yes! Laser therapy is painless and non-invasive. The F.D.A. has ruled the device as posing no serious threat or side effects. Everyone reacts differently to treatment but most people report feeling very relaxed, calm, and that they no longer have the desire to smoke. All laser treatments are performed by licensed technicians/physicians.
Are all lasers the same?
No! Many of our competitors use inferior lasers having only 1/3 the clinical power of our Laser Solutions computer controlled equipment. Our lasers are state of the art medical lasers, providing the proper clinical power output to give you the optimum therapeutic results. Laser therapy is an exact science with precisely calculated dosages. If you get too small of a dosage, it is exactly the same as taking 1/10 of an aspirin for a migraine headache. It simply won't work. You can rest assured you will always get the proper dosage at our clinic.
The laser protocols used by Smoking End Zone Laser Clinic are based on significant research. To date typical success rates are between 76% and 82%.
If I have a medical condition, can I still receive LLL therapy?
If you have any questions or concerns about a specific condition such as depression or epilepsy, please contact your doctor before visiting us. If you are pregnant or have been diagnosed with cancer, we must inform you that you are not a candidate for laser therapy. We can, however, help you stop smoking with one of our other treatments. Feel free to call us with any questions.
